Celesta Susan Siptroth was my great-grandmother. Born January 16th 1881, she was the daughter of Oliver Siptroth and Anna Maria Butz of Jackson Township, Monroe Co., Pa. Celesta married William Snyder Andress March 4th 1903. Living in the Stroudsburgs they raised a family of five girls and four boys. She passed away August 25th 1955. This website is dedicated to the research of her ancestors, primarily the families of: SIPTROTH, BUTZ, SINGER, POSSINGER, and PETTENKOFFER.
