Last Will and Testament of Philip Singer of Hamilton Twp. Northampton Co., PA, 1815.

John Philip Singer, son of Palatine immigrants Johannes and Catharine Singer, was the grandfather of Sally Ann Singer. Sally married Henry Siptroth in 1843. Henry and Sally were the grandparents of Celesta Susan Siptroth who married William Snyder Andress in 1903. William and Celesta are my great grandparents. I thank my cousin Susan for sending me Philip Singer’s probate documents. She has been a great help in the collection of information on the Singer family. This will, inventory and account record are filed in the Northampton County courthouse, Easton, PA. Below is the text of Philip’s will. Following this blog posting will be other posts containing the images of the documents.
